COVEN / Gathering of 13 witches (wombs-caldrons-bells).

Beyond the false satanic myth constructed along the history, the "witches" are the powerful, independent, wise and indomitable healer-women who understand the secret arcanes of nature that society, closed in its rules and precepts, often has condemned to burn at the stake, to hang on the gallows or to carry the bell of shame.

The witch-woman who makes her potions in cauldrons, who dances to the sound of her own bell and who is able to control nature through the power of her womb is the metaphor, always alive, of the powerful woman that frightens men who cannot subdue her.

This piece is dedicated to all those who defend women’s empowerment.
